Pacific Gateway Group, Inc. (PGG) was established in San Diego in 1985 as a public relations and consulting firm. Originally started as a partnership, PGG became a sole proprietorship in 1989 under the direction of Doug Perkins, its president. With Mr. Perkins at the helm, PGG was certified by the State of California Small & Minority Business in 1990. In 1997, PGG became a California corporation and expanded its operation by opening an office in Sacramento, California.
