About Us
Digital do graphic and interaction design print, web and cross-media communication founded: 1999 Claudia Kool & Timothy Harris DESIGN Design is a human act. ''What is design? A plan for arranging elements in such a way as to best accomplish a particular purpose.'' - Charles Eames This raises a question: Why must a thing (or experience) be useful? The Interface All tools require a means for the user to perform an action. The various boundaries between disciplines are blurring. The communications revolution is still underway. Film and Internet and Print and Video and Sound and all the Arts and Sciences are experiencing a period of intense cross-fertilization. Convergence means that tools become de-materialized. Your checkbook becomes a web page or voice-mail account. The television and the typewriter and the telephone merge into one device, often offering many other functions as well.
