About Us

Driving the 3D character animation and figure design industry, Curious Labs delivers essential 3D character solutions that are easy to master, affordable, and yet rich in professional features. Founded in April 2000, a wholly owned subsidiary of EGISYS AG, Curious Labs digitally empowers the creative artist community, continually expanding and growing by developing technologies for use by its varied consumer and professional user base. In addition to growing its product line with the December 2002 release of pro-V studio, the only authoring tool for Viewpoint, Curious Labs is committed to extending the legacy of its flagship product, Poser(R), The Ultimate 3D Character Solution. Poser 5 for Windows was released in Fall 2002 with new facial mapping, hair and cloth technologies.
