Rockstone Foundation, Inc.

About Us

UAFW is the only workshop of its kind that specifically addresses the unique challenges that face today''s filmmakers of color. In our efforts to demystify the filmmaking process and provide access to aspiring filmmakers, we''ve decided to bring the secrets of Hollywood directly to this under-represented group. Established filmmakers, industry executives, and actors will be brought in to serve as guest instructors.

UAFW is a product of the Rockstone Foundation Inc, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing filmmakers of color with the skills, resources, and opportunities necessary to pursue and succeed in a career in filmmaking. UAFW is a launching pad for the Urban-American Filmmakers Conference scheduled for the fall of 2004 in Atlanta, GA.
