About Me

I am an experienced lighting designer - gaffer, camera operator and field sound person. I have a small sound kit (2 lavs, shotgun, mixer, etc.) as well as some lighting and grip gear. I have transportation and will work anywhere in the greater metro DC area.

I have years of experience in corporate and event work, interviews, indie films and music videos. I have been on enough shoots to understand how to keep a shoot going smoothly and quickly forward, and I am pretty good at anticipating the needs of most DPs.

I have lit for HD projects and shot with HDV, and understand the extra care required to make those formats look their best.

I''m familiar with all the typical lighting and grip equipment, including Arri, Mole-Richardson, Desisti, Kinoflo, Dedolite, Lowel, Space light, Chimera, Lekos, Pars et al. Shure, Sennheiser, and other audio gear, incl. shotgun and lav mikes, wired and wireless. Z1U, PD150, DVX100, XL1 cameras. Fisher, Chapman and Elemack dollies.
