American Screenwriter's Association

About Us

The American Screenwriters Association (ASA) is organized for educational purposes, including the promotion and encouragement of the art of screenwriting. A non-profit 501(c) 3 organization, ASA is committed to the international support and advancement of all screenwriters. ASA exists to serve the largest, most under-represented writer''s population today...the emerging screenwriter.

We continually seek to establish favorable relations and ties between writers in the United States of America and around the world by encouraging and enabling the sharing of information concerning screenwriting. As such, ASA is committed to growing as an international organization and began with our alliance with THOT FICTION, a screenwriting organization in France, as well as individual members around the world.
