About Us

The Department of Audio/Video/Film offers a number of programs of study designed to prepare students for the challenges that await them in the fast-paced, volatile, ever-changing world of communication. We have designed programs that teach our students to think both critically and creatively, prepare them for professional careers in radio, television and film, as well as in new media and the applications of tomorrow. While aware of the possible variations in message content in film, audio and video, we fully expect that our graduates will significantly comprise the ranks of the next generation of communication producers, directors and managers.

First-rate faculty and facilities contribute to helping students achieve their educational goals. Our faculty is comprised of people who have years of experience in the worlds of commercial and noncommercial production, advertising and corporate video. We also boast a number of award-winning documentary producers and directors on staff.
