About Us
The Film and Video Arts Society - Alberta (FAVA) is a non-profit artist-run film and video arts society serving Albertans since 1982. Our mandate is to facilitate and encourage the production and exhibition of independent film and video works. With more than 300 members worldwide, FAVA serves artists with a wide range of backgrounds and levels of experience ranging from veteran artists to those with an emerging passion for video and film. FAVA is located in the Ortona Armoury, in the heart of Edmonton's river valley.
