About Us

For nearly 60 years, the nonprofit Broadcasters’ Foundation has been a safety net in times of personal or family crisis for radio and television professionals across the country. The foundation provides anonymous financial grants to those who, through no fault of their own, are in acute need due to critical illness, advanced age, death of a spouse, an accident or other serious misfortune. It is the ONLY organization doing this work in the broadcasting industry.

Membership is at an all-time high, having increased 100 % in the past five years. Members not only support the foundation’s mission financially, but they also serve as the organization’s "eyes and ears" in identifying broadcasters across the country who are in acute need. The Broadcasters’ Foundation has undertaken a campaign to enlist new members to achieve its goal that "no plea for help goes unheard."
