About Us
Special effects.
Gizmo is a provider of Motion control equipment and services for feature films and TV commercials. We have 2 portable Motion control systems, 35mm Mitchell-Fries cameras, and we build custom motion control equipment. We use Kuper Controls motion control software. Gizmo has been providing special effects services and mechanical rigging for over 18 years. We began offering motion control services 12 years ago. We were originally located in Midtown Manhattan making the move to New Jersey in 1993. In March 2001 we relocated to a location with a larger and better equipped machine shop. We primarily service New York City based production companies but our equipment has been to locations around the US and Canada.
