Penn State Media Sales

About Us

Penn State Media Sales is a service of Penn State Public Broadcasting. Media Sales was originally created under the name, The Psychological Cinema Register in 1940, The Register served as a professional and educational distribution outlet for psychology research documentation and medical training films. Many of these films are classics today and remain with the Media Sales archives.

The Register joined Penn State Public Broadcasting in 1997 and became Media Sales.

Media Sales represents over 1200 titles from many universities, independent producers, and international production studios. Much of our footage is considered rare and historically significant.

Primarily, the audio-visual collection is intended for professional and educational use. Our collection also contains regional Pennsylvania documentaries as well as some special interest programming.
