About Us

Gerald T. Rogers Productions was incorporated in 1968 for the purpose of producing television commercials. Its founder, Gerry Rogers, spent several years producing TV spots for Young & Rubicam and Doyle, Dane Bernbach in New York before returning to his hometown Chicago to direct spots for the Wilding company. In 1972 the company began producing longer form documentary/ information films for such industry giants as Sara Lee, United Airlines, Quaker Oats and Allstate Insurance. GTR Productions also began a long-term relationship with The Dartnell Corporation, the distributor of business training and motivational videos. Over the next two decades, the collaboration produced over twenty award-winning projects including "The Troubled Employee," "A Gift from Mrs. Timm" and "One of Our Own."
