Washington, home to major production companies and a thriving media industry is one of the nation''s fastest growing regions for film, video, and multimedia production. Our film and video program makes the most of its location in its undergraduate, graduate and special programs. Graduates and undergraduate make full use of the professional resources of Washington for coursework, special presentations, and internships.
Graduate students can choose from full-time and part-time programs leading to either an M.A. in Film & Video or an M.F.A. in Film and Electronic Media. Students can also select a weekend program for working professionals that leads to an M.A. in Communication: Producing for Film and Video. The hands-on programs prepare students for a wide range of production, management and script writing opportunities throughout the documentary, public information or entertainment media industry.
