About Us
Ambient Images originally formed as New York Stock Photo to provide one stop shopping for all your New York City photo needs. Our philosophy was simple and two fold. We wanted to offer a wide and diverse selection of images of all of New York''s well known landmarks, combined with coverage of subjects that may be harder to find. Lots of Statue of Liberty and skyline photos along with images of neighborhoods, museums, restaurants etc... We opened our doors in the Spring of 1999 with our first CD Catalog, and our Website was uploaded in December of 1999.
