Production Intern
WINTER/SPRING INTERNS for TEALE/EDWARDS PRODUCTIONS
Teale/Edwards Productions seeks an organized, detail-oriented Development/Research Intern to provide administrative, research and production support to ongoing documentary and entertainment projects. As part of a small office staff, interns will have the opportunity to gain a great deal of hands-on experience with production coordinating, research and development of documentary projects, and the day-to-day operations of a production office. Interns will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and learn all aspects of the development and production processes. We ask for a minimum commitment of two full days per week and there is a possibility of freelance employment with Teale/Edwards Productions following the internship.
Teale/Edwards Productions has recently finished producing two documentaries for A&E Television, “MillionHeirs” and “Crime Ink,” and is currently producing series for The Food Network and Oxygen, as well as several other development projects. We have produced original documentaries and television series for HBO’s America Undercover series, A&E, PBS, Channel 4 (UK), and the BBC. As a production services company, our recent clients include “Da Ali G Show” for Channel 4/ HBO, “SO Graham Norton” for Channel 4 and “Absolutely Fabulous” for the BBC.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or anticipating bachelor’s degree from a four-year university. Prior office or production experience preferred. Strong research skills a must. Please bring sample writing/research work to interview if possible.
