Supervise the production, digitizing and encoding of audio/video files in various digital formats for delivery through the Web, CD-ROM, DVDs and other digital media. Responsible for advanced DVD authoring, non-linear video editing and audio recording as needed. Other responsibilities include basic installation/maintenance of equipment and software.
Demonstrated understanding of software programs used in digitizing and encoding, advance DVD authoring software, non-linear editing systems, HTML programming/software, budgeting and techniques used to interface and administer streaming media servers necessary. Experience in emerging interactive technologies, in particular computer-mediated communication systems, essential. Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills required. Excellent benefits including staff/dependent scholarship program.

Experience / Skills Needed
Bachelor’s in journalism, media production or related field required. Experience in media production and/or interactive media production will substitute for education.
